The CRCBIA has created a new logo and web site; we hope you like the new look. New to the web site is a member directory which we hope will help you find out who your business neighbours are.
Behind the scenes the new logo and web site comes with some more substantial changes. To reflect interest in the business association two positions were added to the Board of Directors. And along with more involvement at the Board we have two new Councillors – both Councillor Kelly and Gower have listened to us and are working on our behalf at City Hall.
With the new City Official Plan, the CRCBIA is working on a number of fronts to protect the interests of existing businesses and vacant land owners including working to improve zoning permissions and investigating opportunities to bring municipal services to the Corridor. And we are involved with the design of a 4-lane Carp Road and ensuring the construction impacts to adjacent businesses are recognized and mitigated.

And plan now to attend the Annual General Meeting. Target date January 23 breakfast followed by the AGM held at Irish Hills. This year we will hear from planning consultant McIntosh Perry on a land use and full build out “Vison for the Corridor”. All businesses and property owners will be provided with a formal notice of the meeting.
