Welcome to the Carp Road Corridor
The Carp Road Corridor is Ottawa’s largest light industry business park. The area includes over 700 acres of zoned light industry and highway commercial land and employs more than 3,000 people.
The Business Association (CRCBIA) works with over 300 business and property owner members to improve business opportunities in the area and attract new business members to the area.
A Great Place to do Business
The City of Ottawa has a growing population of 1,000,000, is home to Canada’s federal government, and houses “Silicon Valley North”, the Kanata High Tech business centre.
Within this larger context, CRCBIA offers business to business opportunities with more than 300 businesses and the people who make them happen every day here in the nation’s capital.
A Great Place to Work
The Carp Road Corridor is a great place to work and to build a business.
The diversity of jobs in the Corridor is remarkable, and our companies are always hiring.
A Great Place to Live
Ottawa was named by Today’s Parent Magazine as one of the best cities to raise a family.
The Corridor is near new urban and rural communities and recreation areas and adjacent to Canadian Tire Centre – home of the NHL Ottawa Senators.
The Carp Road Corridor includes over 300 well established and diverse businesses. Together, these employ more than 3,000 people (and growing).
CRCBIA draws its board directly from its members, the people who know the pulse of the community.
The Carp Road Corridor offers unique transport access, including close proximity to the 417, 416 and 7 highways as well as Carp Municipal Airport.
The Carp Airport is the only place in Ottawa where private hangar space is readily available.
The Carp Road Corridor BIA sits in the rural West End of the City of Ottawa, close to the 417 highway.
The Carp Road Corridor Business Improvement Area’s boundaries are shown in detail on this City of Ottawa map.
We work with over 300 business and property owner members in the area.
